Movie Monday: Casablanca

A classic movie if ever there was one, Casablanca is a favorite among the masses. Set in the throes of WWII, the romantic drama follows the trials and tribulations of American expatriate and ex freedom fighter, Rick Blaine played by the legendary Humphrey Bogart as he negotiates his love for a woman and his battle against the Nazis. Directed by Michael Curtiz in 1942, Casablanca was nominated by eight Oscars, winning three. Hailed as a gem of the golden years of Hollywood, the heartbreaking performance between Bogart and his leading lady, Ingrid Bergman make this movie an undisputed classic and a Cockpit USA fave!
