Another Satisfied Customer: U.S.A.F FIRST REISSUE A-2
“Being a former Marine aviator I always thought the A2 was a nicer looking jacket than the G-1 I was issued. I bought one of these from Cockpit USA and if it isn’t better than the issue A2 I would be amazed. I bought a size too big but it still looks better than the very expensive repros and is better made than my old G-1.”

“The quality of materials and construction of my newly purchased A-2 jacket is impressive, and obviously it is built to last. I would note that what makes this garment unique is its heavy weight. This makes the coat warm, but also unusually comfortable as the weight sort of makes the coat envelop the wearer in a way you don’t feel with a lighter material. This is my second A2 jacket and I wear it constantly.”
